Cafe Bar Restaurante La Mora sits right off the A-92 near Huetor Santillan, making it a practical and welcoming stop for travelers cruising through the Granada region, as well as locals looking for hearty, traditional fare. This spot blends the roles of restaurant, bar, and café seamlessly, offering a casual yet lively atmosphere throughout the day.

The interior has a warm, cozy feel that appeals to a mix of visitors — from families settling in for a relaxed meal to campervan travelers passing through, as noted by many who appreciate the efficient service despite the steady flow of customers. Its location, with views toward the Sierra Nevada, adds a quiet scenic backdrop, especially for those grabbing a coffee or a light tapas lunch.

The kitchen focuses on classic Andalusian and nearby regional flavors. Dishes range from comforting stews like estofado de alubias to local specialties such as plato alpujarreño. The menu’s tapas selection makes it a great spot for sharing plates, and the café side shines with good coffee paired perfectly with tostadas topped with sobrasada or simple fresh tomato and jamón. Sweet options like arroz con leche and tarta de queso con arándanos provide a gentle finish to a meal here.

This is the kind of place that works well for mid-day breaks on a road trip, casual lunches, or early dinners. The staff’s friendliness stands out, and despite busy times, service tends to remain prompt, making it reliable even on weekends or during local busy periods. Beer and local wines are offered at the bar, complementing the food with something refreshing after a day of travel or hiking in nearby hills.

Overall, La Mora suits those who value straightforward, honest meals with regional character in a down-to-earth setting. Visitors looking for a quiet coffee or a full dinner surrounded by locals will find it fits naturally into their rhythm, whether passing through or staying nearby.

Overnight stop in our campervan, travelling north east to Alicante - great welcome, excellent service for both dinner and breakfast. Very busy, with lots of locals and travellers like ourselves - but no delays. Great experience - will be back!

Nice price burger in view of Sierra Nevada. Lovely. Menu of the day looked good. Pollo asado con chips was succulent.

Stopped by Café Bar Restaurante La Mora while exploring the area and it was the perfect break. The place is warm and cozy, the staff are kind, and the tostadas with coffee hit the spot .

Very nice place for breakfast. Tortilla was a little artificial and they don’t have brown bread, but service is fast and it’s good value for money.

This is a local restaurant, offered value for money lunch set, with efficient services. Very busy restaurant during lunch time, with good view at the outdoor seating, with local vibe in the indoor seatings. We tried hot soup and stew as starters; secret grilled and fish as main. Secret grilled is excellent, fish is good but too salty to our liking. We like the stew, like home cooked food. The serving is huge too. If you like home cook and local experience, give this a try.

We stopped here for lunch as it was handy for our long drive from Murcia to Marbella. It was packed, lively, everyone was enjoying themselves. A free paella arrives at the table whilst you decide what to order. Service was super-friendly and super-fast. Large portions and good food.
